Journey Through Life

The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance..

Curator’s Pen
As we believe, the emotion comes out from within, so as art. For that, we are in process towards AIM – Art In Me. It is the process to search for the Art in ‘Self’, that is Art within. Here it is a mission to understand the relationships between aesthetics, ethics, and new media art by exhibiting the results of the process, influences, and consequences of aesthetic judgments.
In post modern Indian Art, artists are really searching themselves with their works – I am just encouraging them to break rules to come out with something new, something effective to express the ‘Self’ in any medium with either orthodox or unconventional pattern.
A bunch of contemporary young artists from different states denote the use of distortion and exaggeration for emotional effect to search within, which first surfaced in my mind just after completing the exhibition titled: Gradually Individual. Accordingly I was searching for artists and was studying their mind. Travelled to few states to connect the artists’ mind and their feeling towards the sense of Aim- Art In Me. I have realized that when artists are applying themselves in a stylistic sense, with reference in particular to the use of intense color and forms with agitated brushstrokes or metals, and disjointed space. Rather than a single style, it is a climate that affected all artists here, sometimes with figurative, sometimes with non figurative abstracts, sometimes with some realism too. It’s just the beginning; it is not only in the visual fine arts but also in performing arts – waiting for some fusions in coming days.
As an artist, I’m sure artists have realized that promoting own works can be super awkward. But it’s essential at the same time. Artists may leave some selective parts for the curators, I am there always to support them. Building a following takes time and patience too. Having Social Networking is fine, and using them and other platforms judiciously is a must, but you're going to get lost in the sea of those, unless you strive to create something that is awesome, something that stands out, something that personally resonates with people, something that really makes us want to comment, connect and share.
For audience: Enjoy the art works of the young artists.
For Artists: Keep your Dreams and Hopes intact, do something better what you have done now…
